Simple but delicious...
Ingredients
Whole wheat flour/Atta: 2 Cups+ 1/4 Cup
Oil/Ghee: 1 Table spoon
Salt
Water
For Filling
Grated Paneer: 2 Cups
Red Chilly Powder: 1/2 Tea Spoon
Cumin/Jeera Powder: 1/2 Tea Spoon
Garam Masala: 1/2 Tea Spoon
Turmeric Powder: 1/4 Tea Spoon
Yogurt: 1 Table Spoon
Chopped Coriander leaves: 3 Table Spoon
Salt
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Method
Add required salt and water to the flour (2 Cups) and make a smooth dough. Same as we make for chapathi. Keep it aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
To make the filling mix all ingredients mentioned under for filling and combine well
After 20 minutes knead the dough once again adding the oil/ghee.
Then make small balls out of the dough. Divide the filling as the same number of balls made from the dough( ie if you have made 10 balls out of the dough, divide the filling to 10 equal portions)
Dust little flour and roll the balls into a small roti.
Place a portion of the filling in the center of the roti
Now fold it from all sides and make it a ball again
Again dust little flour and carefully roll it out again and make the paratha. (Do not make it too thin)
Heat a tawa and cook the paratha.
Brush a little ghee or oil on top
Serve hot with pickle, raitha or curd
