Sugar : 1 Cup
Water: 3/4 Cup
Beetroot Peel : A few, or use beetroot slices
Salt : 1 Pinch
Rose Water : 1 Tea Spoon
Boil sugar, water and beetroot peel. When the syrup becomes slightly thick add salt and rose water and switch off the flame.
Strain it and let it cool. Once cooled down store in fridge and use as needed.
Beetroot peel should not be kept in syrup for long time as the sugar syrup might get the taste of beetroot
Do not wait till the syrup get too thick..As the syrup gets thicker once cooled
If using rose petals instead of rose water once you strain the boiled syrup (sugar+water+beetroot+salt)
Add the washed and dried petals and let it sit for 24 hours. Then remove the rose petals.
