Spicy Spicy Chicken Curry!!!
Ingredients
Chicken: 1 Kg
Onion: 2
Ripe Tomato: 2
Crushed Garlic: 1 Table Spoon
Crushed Ginger: 1 Table Spoon
Green Chilly: 2 - 3
Kashmiri Chilly Powder: 4 Table Spoon
Turmeric Powder: 1/2 Tea Spoon
Coriander Powder: 1/2 Tea Spoon
Cinnamon: 1 Inch Piece
Clove: 3 - 4
Bay Leaf: 1
Cardamom: 3 - 4
Coconut Oil: 2 Table Spoon
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Salt
Water
Cooking Time: 25 Minutes
Method
Clean and wash the chicken and keep aside
To a pan pour oil and add cinnamon stick, clove, bay leaf and cardamom. Saute for a minute and then add sliced onion. Saute till onion becomes translucent
Add crushed ginger, garlic and green chilly
Saute for 3 to 4 minutes and reduce the flame and add kashmiri chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt
Saute in low flame for 4 to 5 minutes and then add chopped tomato
Combine everything well and add cleaned chicken pieces
Stir well for 4 to 5 minutes and then add enough hot water and curry leaves
Cover and cook in medium flame for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked well
Check for the consistency of the gravy(It should be medium thick)and then add coriander leaves and switch off the flame
Serve hot with rice or chapati
