A biscuit base with tasty orange pudding. You would love it :)
Ingredients (Would Serve 5 to 6 people)
First Set of Ingredients
Marie Biscuit: 150gms
Salt less Butter: 100gms
Powdered Sugar: 3 Table Spoon
Second Set of Ingredients
Sugar: 8 to 10 Table Spoon
Gelatin: 2 Table Spoon
Orange Juice: 200ml
Egg Yolk: 4
Cold water: 1/2 Cup
Third Set of Ingredients
Sugar: 2 Table Spoon
Egg White : of 4 eggs
Preparation time: 1 Hour
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Method
Soak gelatin in cold water
Grind the marie biscuit to a powder and mix it well with the powdered sugar and butter
Layer this on to your setting tray. Press it well to the bottom of the setting tray using a spatula
Keep this in fridge for 1 hour
Beat the egg yolk well and add orange juice and sugar to it and mix well
Double boil the soaked gelatin and make it a liquid and add it
Keep the mixture in low flame for about 10 to 15 minutes and allow it to cool little
Beat the egg white adding sugar using a hand mixer and make it like a foam
Add the foamed egg white to the orange juice mixture and fold in well
Pour this on top of the biscuit layer and keep in fridge for setting
Before serving pour a little orange juice on top
Note
Take the pudding out from the fridge just before serving, because the biscuit layer will melt soon.
To enhance the orange flavor can add little orange zest too.
If you get orange flavored marie biscuit can use the same
