Kalakand

The traditional way of making this sweet is very time consuming. This is a quick and easy method
Ingredients

Full Fat milk: 2 Liters
Lime juice: 3 Table Spoon
Condensed milk: 1 Tin (395gm)
Milk Powder: 2 Table Spoon
Cardamom Powder: 1/2 Tea Spoon
Chopped Nuts: For Garnish

Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Method

In a pan pour the milk and let it boil.
Once it boils reduce the flame and add lime juice to it
Cook on low flame and let the milk curdle completely
Strain the curdled milk using a muslin cloth
Wash the paneer well so that there is no trace of the lemon juice
Tie the cloth and hang it so that all the whey is dripped off
Crumble the paneer and add it to a wide pan
To this add condensed milk, milk powder and cardamom powder and combine well
Cook the mixture on medium heat stirring continuously
Cook until the mixture starts to thicken and starts to leave the sides of the pan.(Do not stop stirring)
Spread the mixture on to a greased plate and level it out using a greased spoon
Let it set for at least an hour
Garnish with some chopped nuts and cut and serve.
