Pepper Lemon Chicken

Such a simple yet flavorful dish!!!!
 Ingredients

Chicken: 500 gms
Lemon Juice: 3 Table Spoon
Lemon Zest: 1/2 Tea Spoon
Garlic Paste: 1/2 Table Spoon
Whole Black Pepper: 1 Table Spoon
Olive Oil: 2 Table Spoon
Butter: 1 Table Spoon (Optional)
Salt

Preparation Time: 5 Hours
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes
Method

Clean and wash the chicken well
Cut it to medium size pieces
Crush the pepper corns
To a bowl add lemon juice, zest, crushed pepper, garlic paste, olive oil and salt
Mix it well and add chicken to it
Marinate the chicken well.  Cover and keep in fridge for at least 4 to 5 hours (Do not freeze)

Preheat the oven at 180C
Remove the chicken from the marinate and place the chicken on a baking dish

Place the tray in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes
Flip the chicken on regular intervals while baking and brush some butter or olive oil each time

Once the chicken is done take it out of the oven and serve hot with pita bread along with garlic sauce and salad

Note

The same recipe can be followed and the chicken can be cooked on a tawa on medium heat by drizzling some oil if required
You can also cook the chicken on a charcoal grill
Cooking time may vary depending on the oven
